Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended the one-stop debtor assistance call center (1375) launch event held on October 29 and had pep talks with the tellers at the call center. The one-stop debtor assistance call center (1375) is established to provide comprehensive financial counseling service for debtors and advise them about the availability of debt workout programs, remedies for the victims of illegal predatory lending, and opportunities for employment and welfare support programs. During his visit, FSC Chairman Lee said that the 1375 call center will offer a glimmer of hope to those struggling with personal indebtedness and help them build a foundation to recover and regain footing financially.
