Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission had a meeting with Kevin Sneader, President of Asia Pacific Ex-Japan at Goldman Sachs, and Joud Abdel Majeid, Co-head of the Global Partners Office for Blackrock, on the sidelines of the Korea Premium Weeks 2026 on September 28. At the meeting, FSC Chairman Lee and the Goldman Sachs and Blockrock officials exchanged views on the future prospects of the Korean stock market and key developments and issues in global markets. As the government plans to consistently work on measures to upgrade the capital market while ensuring market stability, Chairman Lee said that he expects to see a growing level of interest and cooperation from global investors moving forward.
