Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended the launch ceremony of Korea Premium Weeks 2026 and delivered opening remarks on September 28. The Korea Premium Weeks 2026, scheduled to be held for three weeks until October 16, is the largest and first country-wide capital market IR event organized jointly by the FSC and the Korea Exchange (KRX) for the promotion of Korea's capital markets to overseas investors and global investment businesses. During the three weeks, the Korea Premium Weeks 2026 will offer global conferences and seminars on important capital market policies and issues and also provide opportunities for investor-oriented sessions. At the launch ceremony, FSC Chairman Lee spoke about the significance of Korea Premium Weeks as a flagship IR event for promoting the attractiveness of Korea's capital markets around the world and engaging and communicating with a variety of stakeholders at home and abroad. In this regard, Chairman Lee said that authorities will seek to have this event more regularly to make it into a flagship IR event for promoting Korea's capital markets going forward.
