Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended a forum on promoting the development of the physical AI sector in regional economies where he delivered congratulatory remarks on September 22. In his speech, Chairman Lee said that the Korean economy is sufficiently equipped with the necessary data, supply chain, and production capacity to boost the nation's competitive edge in various physical AI sectors, such as robotics, AI factory, and future mobility. In this regard, Chairman Lee said that the regional economies that are particularly equipped with the manufacturing and production capacity can serve as key industrial hubs for the development of the physical AI sector. In a pre-forum session, Chairman Lee toured the physical AI experience zone to see the potential of applying various types of physical AI technologies in industrial settings.
