FSC Chairman Lee Eog-weon met with Christian Görke, Chairman of the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag and other committee members on September 15 at the Government Complex Seoul. Both sides agreed on the importance of pursuing policies that promote economic growth and financial stability while strengthening international cooperation amid growing financial market uncertainty. They also expressed hope for stronger financial cooperation between the two countries and greater opportunities for financial institutions from both countries to expand their operations in each other’s markets in areas of mutual interest, including capital markets and digital finance.
