Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission visited a project financed residential construction site in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province on September 10 to promote the supply of housing. During his visit, Chairman Lee discussed the availability of financial regulatory support to facilitate the construction of residential projects through project finance loans. To speed up the supply of housing units, Chairman Lee said that it is important to have developers, builders, lenders, and public guarantee institutions to all play their parts diligently and in harmony. In this process, Chairman Lee said that the government will continue to closely monitor situation to help remove challenges and obstacles and seek ways to boost support.
