Chairman Lee Eog-weon of the Financial Services Commission attended the opening ceremony of the 10th joint finance job fair and delivered welcoming remarks on August 19. With 82 financial institutions joining the event, the 10th annual job fair is being held in the largest scale ever this year. From 2027, the joint finance job fair event will be held twice yearly including a venue outside the Seoul metropolitan area to offer more opportunities for jobseekers in non-Seoul areas. In his speech, Chairman Lee spoke about both challenges and opportunities presented by AI for finance jobseekers and urged financial companies to make efforts to expand the supply of quality jobs and opportunities for young adults.
