Vice Chairman Sohn Byungdoo presided over a kick-off meeting of the task force on the prevention of unfair stock trading activities on October 19. During the meeting, Vice Chairman Sohn underscored the importance of closing the loopholes in the current regulatory framework surrounding the stock markets. The task force will be charged with (a) sternly responding to unfair trading activities, (b) closely monitoring the loopholes in the trading system and (c) working on regulatory improvements.
