The FSC held its 14th meeting and gave preliminary approval for the merger of Hana Bank and Korea Exchange Bank (KEB). As members of the executive board and governance structure of the new Hana-KEB bank have not been decided yet, eligibility of executives and appropriateness of governance structure will be reviewed in the final review process upon submission of request for official approval for the merger.
