The Fintech Center marked the 1st anniversary on March 30, 2016 since it was established as an incubator to foster the growth of Korea's fintech industry. Over the last year, the Fintech Centor supported more than 320 fintech start-ups and held a monthly demo-day to match fintech start-ups with investors and financial insitutions. FSC Chairman Yim Jong-yong in his congratulatory remark emphasized that  'robo-advisor, big data and global expansion' are the main themes on which the FSC would put focus for 2016 to further develope Korea's fintech industry.
